OSBORNE D/A PERCUSSION REVOLVER: 54 bore; 153mm (6") oct barrel marked CHAS OSBORNE to top barrel flat & fitted with a lrg dovetailed front sight; 6 shot cylinder struck with Birmingham proofs & showing vivid case colours; foliate engraved frame fitted with a spring safety catch to lhs & bolted safety to rear of hammer; Colt style lever & barrel wedge; sharp profiles, clear maker engraving & proofs; 90% orig blue finish with a sml amount of losses to lhs of barrel; vivid case colours to lever & hammer; polished finish to t/guard; exc chequered walnut grips with vacant oval silver escutcheon; gwo & exc cond. Similar in appearance to Webley-Bentley Arms but of a much superior quality. Presented in its orig mahogany case with vacant brass lid escutcheon; partitioned & lined in faded burgundy velvet, showing wear; complete with correct brass mould, vg Dixon bag flask, nipple wrench, turnscrew, cleaning rod & Eley cap tin; all in g. cond.
